  6. Time Tracker for Windows is a simple accessory for Microsoft Windows
  7. which asks you what you are doing at a given interval and keeps records 
  8. in monthly logs.
  9.  
  10.     This program began as a way for me and people I work with to keep 
  11. track of billable hours during the day.  We billed monthly, so it was 
  12. hard to go back at the end of the month and remember what it was we were 
  13. working on each day and for how long.  Now at the end of each month we 
  14. just check our logs from Time Tracker and rephrase it to make a billing 
  15. report.

  17. REGISTRATION
  18. ------------
  19.     Time Tracker for Windows is distributed as "shareware."  It is not 
  20. free software. You are being given a chance to use this program for a 
  21. period of thirty (30) days before buying it.  If after this time you 
  22. continue to use Time Tracker, you are expected to register it.  
  23. Registration gives you the right to continue to use this software 
  24. as well as news and discounts on future upgrades.  You are encouraged 
  25. to distribute this software, providing it is distributed in its 
  26. entirety and without charge (except for media and handling, if 
  27. applicable).  I reserve the right to change these restrictions in 
  28. future versions.

  30.     If you find this product useful and continue to use Time Tracker 
  31. after thirty days, you are required to register it by making a payment 
  32. of $10 (US) to me.  Include an extra $3 (US) if you would like the latest
  33. version mailed to you.  This fee will license one copy of Time Tracker 
  34. for use on any one computer at any one time. To register Time Tracker, 
  35. print out the form called REGISTER.WRI using Windows Write and send with 
  36. your payment to:

  50. PACKING LIST

  52. This program is distributed as a ZIP file.  Unzip TRACTIME.ZIP to a
  53. temporary directory or floppy disk and run SETUP.EXE.  If SETUP.EXE is
  54. not in the ZIP file, make a directory for Code Keeper and put copy all
  55. of the files into that directory.  See the IMPORTANT note below about
  56. where to put the DLL and VBX files.

  67. You must have the following files:

  72. in your Windows\System directory for Time Tracker to work.  If these 
  73. files were not on the distribution disk that you received, they are 
  74. available on Compuserve, America On-Line, or most local bulletin 
  75. boards.  If you are just evaluating Code Keeper, you can just put 
  76. these files in the directory where you installed Time Tracker.

  121. INSTALLATION
  122. ------------
  123. To install this program, make a directory for the TIMETRAC.EXE and 
  124. TIMETRAC.HLP files.  Your log files will be kept in this directory.  
  125. If they are not already there, copy the THREED.VBX and VBRUN300.DLL 
  126. files to your WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  A default TIMETRAC.INI file 
  127. will be created in the directory where the EXE and HLP files are the 
  128. first time you run the program.
